I'm Charlie, founder of Charlie Brownies! We are a well established company which aims to provide delicious gluten-free and vegan baked goods to coffee stores and restaurants across London and Essex.
I have always been a lover of food and have been creating and cooking food for most of my life. I began by watching my mother and father cook in our kitchen from a young age, learning the ins and outs and eager to jump in and help at any given chance. By 16 I was helping out my dad in his restaurant's kitchen. By 18, I had set up a market stall selling jambalaya and brownies at Portobello Road and Finsbury Square. It soon became apparent that I had a big problem however - the brownies were selling so fast I could barely keep up with them! Inundated with requests, Finsbury Square offered to stock my brownies and that right there is where Charlie Brownies began.
